FootballPlus is delighted to announce a partnership with the KNVB to run their WorldCoaches Program in Indonesia. FootballPlus has a vast network of coaches throughout Indonesia, however the common comment from these coaches has been the lack of access they have to gain coaching licenses. We are therefore so excited to give 150 coaches in the cities of Jakarta, Bandung, Kupang, Medan, Surabaya and Papua the chance to attend the WorldCoaches program which will be led by qualified coaches from the KNVB.
Jon Hamilton, CEO of FootballPlus, said this about the partnership, “I couldn’t be happier that finally some of the hardest working, dedicated coaches I know, will finally get the credit, training and recognition, they deserve for their coaching. I am also delighted that the KNVB also shares our desire to teach positive values within football to build a stronger community. Therefore, I can’t wait until the first event in Bandung in February.”
Michael van der Star, coordinator of the KNVB WorldCoaches program added, “This cooperation with FootballPlus enables the WorldCoaches program to have more impact on the local community and to stretch the program to other regions and communities in Indonesia. We look forward to the official kick off in February and to educate the local coaches in the different regions.”
